- The task assigned to NAB by the President was elimination of corruption in the Country through across the board accountability and recovery of looted wealth including the money stashed abroad and the defaulted loans. The latter had to be included since not repaying financial institutions had become the norm rather than the exception. In fact even some established business houses indulge in the practice.
