Market Commentary
Good Morning!!
Indian Pharmaceutical Indices from CP-Artha – CPA-PHARMEX & CPA-MIDPHARMEX
This week, we started two indices on Indian Pharmaceutical Industry – CPA-PHARMEX & MIDPHARMEX. In the last two days, though market had gone up
significantly, these two indices was flat. Current prices for these two indices are 1,062.12 and 933.45 respectively. Adjusted levered beta are 0.78x and
0.76x respectively. This implies Indian Pharma is less risky than the whole market. Among the ten large cap stocks, we believe Ranbaxy Laboratories
Limited& Cadila Healthcare Limited is interesting for further analysis. Similarly, in mid-cap, Pfizer Limited, Novartis India Limited and Wyeth Limited is
interesting. At the current market price, these stocks can be a bargain trade.
