Wanting to improve the lives of children forced into labour at the expense of their schooling, students at City School, Harley Street, Rawalpindi decided to initiate a donation campaign among their peers. The purpose was to gather enough funds to support as many children as possible in acquiring a basic education so they were able to improve their prospects in life. As a result of the community’s support, three child labourers were admitted into a local public school and the students have pledged to support their education uptil Matric.

The problem we are attempting to change is “Child
Labour”. We are really grieved to see children
around us who instead of studying are working hard
all day long. They are precious asset of our country
we being the privileged class which to render our
support to our brothers and sisters in need.

Financial support in order to compensate for
the money these children earn and in order to
raise this money, donation box will be kept in
school.
Provision of clothing, books and monthly
school fee.
