Dental marketing is all about reaching the right audience at the right time. We have to consider who
your target market is and what they're all about. What do they really want in seeking the dentist? A
whiter smile? Perhaps. Straighter teeth? Maybe. Better overall health, possibly.
But what really people are looking for is a life enhancing experience. They want to avoid the pains
associated with having a less than perfect smile, and also avoid the pains often associated with going
to the dentist. Dental marketing is all about building rapport and trust.
People want to go to a dentist whom they know, like, and trust. Is that you? How can you possibly get
to know all your target market? You probably can't. But your dental website, can. This is where 70% of
the buying decisions are made. When dental marketing guy talks about case acceptance, we're not
talking about counseling the existing patient on what treatment is optimal and comprehensive. We're
talking about how case acceptance - or rejection - takes place over a long period of time. And most of
that time is before they've even met you.
Build trust with your prospective patients by having a strong web presence that humanizes you. This is
what dental patients really want.
