- I’m Mike Demler. My blog is called “Analog Insights”, and it is hosted on the Synopsys Open Community web site. In my “lighting talk” I would like to share with you a few tips and lessons learned in how to draw an audience to your blog… and how to build an online community. But 1 st – Why did I start a blog? Well, the 1 st reason was to have a real world experiment for concepts I learned in a class on internet marketing, that I took as part of my MBA program. 2 nd – I was, until recently, a marketing manager in the analog/mixed-signal product group at Synopsys. With increased emphasis at Synopsys on the custom, analog market – I saw a blog as an opportunity to create an analog voice for the company, since the company is primarily identified with its digital technology.
