2. Various types of INCOTERMS
 There are ELEVEN types INCOTERMS 2010 and these
are divided into Four distinct group .
 1 GROUP E –It indicates that the goods shall be made
at available to the importers at the exporters premise
 2 Group F –It indicates that exporter must deliver the
goods to a carrier that has been appointed by importer
for carrying goods to destination

3. CONTD
 3 Group C – It indicates that exporter is liable for
losses and damages up to the port of shipment and all
losses and damages subsequent to exporter delivery of
cargo to shipping company and any additional cost or
charges etc. shall be borne by importer.
 4 Group D- The incoterm under group D indicates the
exporter will having obligation and responsibility to
incur all cost ,charge and other risk risks that may be
associated in the course of journey from exporter
country to importer country .

6. APPLICABLE INCOTERMS IN
DIFFERENT MODE OF TRANSPORT
 There are some INCOTERMS that that can be used only in case
of multimodal transport and some can be used only incase of
land transport .Some others can be used when the main carriage
of transport of goods is by sea or inland water only .
 International trader should take care which particular incoterm
is suitable as such decision will also be based on buyers and
seller’s bargaining power
