9. Now let’s begin! The Welcome screen is your quick and easy way to go places inStoryBook Creator Plus 3.0. This Welcome screen allows you to see thelatest news feeds and check for updates to the software.
10. It’s easy to start and complete a StoryBook or other project. To startcreating, select Create a new project from the menu.
11. The Create a new project dialog box helps you choose your project andstarting template by showing you all available project types and thetemplates available for that specific project.
12. Once you have decided which project to start, select it from the project type.
13. Your template options display. Select the template you want to use andand click Next. How to get content???
14. One of the amazing features of this software is you can add photos toyour project right away and even have them intelligently prefilled in the imageframes by selecting Autopopulate. But for the first example, we’ll add photos later so, for now, click Next.
15. It’s important to name your project and save it in a location where youcan easily find it. After you have done so, click Create.
17. Since we chose not to add photos right away, we’re going to add them now. First, click on the Photos panel and once there, click on Getphotos. If you’re a Memory Manager user, you’ll be thrilled to knowStoryBook Creator Plus has the ability to get all your edited photos rightout of Memory Manager. You can bring in one photo or an entire folder ofpictures. Simply select Memory Manager 3.0 from the menu.
18. If you don’t have Memory Manager 3.0 Software open, don’t worry.StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 Software will open it for you!
19. Now you can open the vault in Memory Manager that contains the photos you want for your StoryBook. Talk about Memory Manager here
24. Once the photos have been successfully been added to your project in StoryBookCreator Plus 3.0, Memory Manager will let you know with a message.
25. Your photos now display in the Photos panel, ready for you to use.
26. Another easy way to bring in photos is from a file. – can eliminate this one to push Memory Manager
27. Next drag and drop each image into one of the photo openings.
28. Add your journaling in the text boxes by clicking on the Enter text here message.
29. Your page is now done! With StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0, you can either leavethe page as is or customize it by adjusting or deleting any element on the page,or adding text or photos. It’s all up to you to create YOUR page YOUR way!
30. Project Auto-populateAfter selecting photos, you can choose to auto-populate your project with them –a unique “smart” feature that selects templates based on photo dates and times.
31. Click on Add photos to select the photos for your project.
32. The Get photos from folders dialog box displays. Browse to the appropriate folder.
33. Select the folder you’d like and click on Get all photos. If you only want someof these photos, you can highlight them and then select Get selected photos.4
34. Your photos display. Be sure to click on the radio button next to Yesto have the software automatically place these photos on the pagesof your project. Click Next to continue.
35. You are then prompted to name and choose a location for your project.When you’re done, click Create.
36. Because the software is choosing photos intelligently, this process can take awhile. Once it’s done, your project will display with your photos already insertedinto the photo slots. It’s a quick and easy way to complete a beautiful StoryBookin a short amount of time! Now just add your journaling text and YOU ARE FINISHED!
37. BLANK CANVAS - DESIGN YOUR OWNYou can also design your own page from scratch. Simply select Add pagefrom the Home ribbon and click on Add a blank page.
38. A blank page displays and you’re now ready to start designing.
40. You can either use the paper as your background or as the first elementof your page.
41. Choose any embellishments you want to add to the page. Then add yourphotos and journaling to complete your page.
42. The result is an amazing-looking page! It’s simple with StoryBook Creator Plus.
43. StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 has a nice feature that allows you to previewyour StoryBook in a two-page spread. Under the Order option, selectPreview order from the menu.
44. Since this project is a StoryBook, select Order Book from the Select Product dialog box. You also have the option to order individual Page Prints from your StoryBook.
45. Your StoryBook displays. Using the blue arrows, you’re able to movethrough your completed photo book and view each beautiful page.
46. After you have previewed your book and are ready to place your order,click on Order.
47. You’ll be asked to confirm you want to order the book as previewed.Click on Continue.
48. The Creative Memories Photo Center login screen displays. Add yourinformation, click Sign in (or create a new account) and follow theprompts. Congratulations on completing your StoryBook!

Important Note: Before you start your upload to Creative Memories Digital Center please check your “sleep mode/standby mode” you may need to temporarily select “never” during the upload to avoid shutting down the upload process. In Vista it is found in “Control panel” settings “power options” “edit plan settings” “put computer to sleep” select “never”. Reset to desired setting once finished.
