I worked for a Cleaning / Restoration Company, cleaning up homes after they had be
subjected to Fire, Wind, Water, Vandalism and Break-ins.
Started my own business in May of 2007. Hickman’s Cleaning Service uses only Eco
Friendly, Non Toxic cleaning solutions, but if you would prefer us to use yours, we
would be glad to accommodate your needs.
Hickman's Cleaning Service is Bonded and Insured. I take pride in the work that I do,
so I can give you my personal guarantee on the work performed in your home.
All the cleaning in your home will be done by one person only the owner, not like
other companies that may give you a different cleaning crew every time they come.
I am also certified by The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) in
these areas: Carpet Cleaning, Journeyman Textile Cleaner, Water Damage
Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, Upholstery Fabric Cleaning, Journeyman Fire
& Smoke Restorer and Odour Control.
Therefore Hickman’s Cleaning Service can provide you with other cleaning services
as well as the regular cleaning.

Cleaning Packages
Spring Cleaning
Light Fixtures: Cleaned and if they need to come apart to clean this will be done.
(Except for old, fragile ones)
Windows: Cleaning both sides as long as they are easy to remove and safe to be
reached by a ladder. Sills and trim will also be cleaned.
Blinds: Cleaning of vinyl, wood, metal, fabric will be vacuumed, curtains will also be
vacuumed.
Carpet: Will be vacuumed.
Floors: Cleaning of all vinyl, ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate flooring etc.
Kitchen: Cleaning of all content on counter, countertops, both sides of all cabinetry doors
and hinges, exterior of all appliances, sink and faucet.
Bathrooms: Cleaning of sinks, mirrors, tubs, toilets complete, both sides of vanity doors
including hinges, vanity countertops.
Interior Doors: Cleaning of both sides including trim & hardware.
All Rooms: Dusting of all walls, corners and ceilings for cob webs, dusting of all
content, flat surfaces, cleaning of all switch plates, dusting of all baseboards.

4. Regular Schedule Cleaning
Light Fixtures: Cleaning (Dusting) all basic fixtures, fans.
Windows: Cleaning of the interior windows only if needed & sills.
Carpets: Will be vacuumed.
Floors: Cleaning of all vinyl, ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate flooring throughout.
Kitchen: Cleaning of countertops, spot wash of exterior cabinetry doors, exterior of all
appliances, sink & faucet, cleaning of all content.
Bathrooms: Cleaning of tub, shower, toilet complete, mirror, vanity top, spot wash of
exterior vanity door.
Interior Doors: Dust of both sides and hardware, spot wash of fingerprints.
All Rooms: Dusting of all walls if needed, corners and ceilings for cob webs, dusting of all
content, flat surfaces, cleaning of all switch plates, dusting of all baseboards.
Furniture: Sofa, love seat, chairs will be vacuumed only if client asks for this to be done.
Customized Cleaning
This package is made up by you the client. You will tell Hickman’s Cleaning Service what you
want done in your home.

5. Move In / Move Out Cleaning
Hickman’s Cleaning Service provides this service as long as all content and garbage has
been removed.
This package includes the following: All light fixtures will be cleaned, all windows will
be cleaned both sides weather permitting & as long as they come apart easy & are safe
to get to, all doors including hardware and trim will be cleaned, all floors will be
cleaned, carpet will be vacuumed, baseboards will be washed, all rooms will be dusted
for cob webs, all heat registers will be washed & the vents vacuumed out, all trim
around windows will be cleaned, all switch plates and outlet plates will be spot
washed, bathrooms will be cleaned completely including exhaust fans, kitchen cabinets
will be cleaned inside & out, appliances will be cleaned inside & out (If they are still on
site), exhaust fan over stove will be cleaned.
This is just a guideline to give you an idea of what will be done.
Information About Client:
1. Do you have any pets? Are they allowed outside? Do they like other people?
2. Do you have a security system? How do I turn it off ? How do I turn it back on
when I leave?
3. Where is the electrical panel?

6. 4. How do I get in? How do I lock up? Where do I leave the key?
5. Are there any rooms in the house that you do not want us cleaning or going into?
6. Are there any special items that you do not want us cleaning or touching?
7. What kind of cleaning schedule would you like to have? Weekly? Bi-weekly?
Monthly? What time would you like us at your home?
Information About Hickman’s Cleaning Service:
1. Our normal work days are Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
2. To help us give you the best service we can, we ask that you take a few minute the
night before and pickup clothing, toys and other items.
3. Minimum 2 hour charge.
4. You do not have to be home when we come to clean. All we ask is that we have access
to the keys. We could put a lock box on your door with a code that only you and our
cleaning service will have access to.
5. As mentioned before we only use Eco Friendly, Non Toxic cleaning solutions, but if
you prefer us to use yours, we would be glad to accommodate your needs.
6. Payment is due on the day of service. We accept cash or cheque made payable to Deb
Hickman.

7. 7. Need to change, skip or cancel an appointment? No problem. All we ask is that you
give 72 hours notice.
8. If your regular scheduled cleaning day falls on a holiday, we will contact you to
reschedule.
