2. One of the similarities between Vertigo Film’s
‘The Firm’ and my final product is the use of
slight comedy, such as the conversation
shown here in ‘The Firm’. The comedy voice-
over which I used for my final film relates to
this.

3. Another similarity between the two films
which would both be distributed by Vertigo
Films is the use of violence, such as the scenes
shown here from ‘The Firm’, and the punch
shown in my final piece.

4. Both films are shown to be set in rather
‘dodgy’ areas, with both media products using
the setting of an estate. This helps to build up
the feeling of a ‘gangster’ type film, seen here
in both clips.
