• The iPad is a revolutionary technology
tool since introduced in 2010
• Changed the way we can and actually
do work
• Mobile device with long battery life –
take and use all day
• Email is easy to setup and use
• Web surfing is a few taps away

3. But what else….
• Continue to see new and different ways
to use this mobile device
• Look at how you do your work and ways
to incorporate the iPad

4. Number 6 – Smartboard
• iPad2 and higher will “mirror” via a VGA
or HDMI connection or via Apple TV
• Show anything on your iPad
• Use whiteboard apps similar to
smartboard in schools
• 2Screens, Whiteboard Lite, Whiteboard

5. Number 5 – iPad as ELMO
• Similar to overhead projectors
• Use camera on iPad to focus on item or
task
• Display any object
• Demonstrate a process or procedure

• Use apps to edit for video or

• Note can be formatted text, webpage,

and attachments
• Searchable

• Must embrace the use of iPad
• Force yourself to use it in different
situations
– Start with something familiar
– Have a backup if it does not work at first
• Plan your presentation and use iPad
• Take notes with iPad
