graduated with Business Major in 1988. In addition to
this, she also attended College of Business, Kentucky
State University to pursue Psychology Major.
She is a success-driven individual who began her
professional career as a Staff Sergeant/Personal
Clerk/Administrative Specialist for the U.S. Army/U.S.
Army Reserves.
During her tenureship, she was responsible for
operating office equipment, answering telephone
calls, attending visitors or callers, maintaining
records, compiling data and preparing required
statistical reports, and a lot more.
4. She received the Automatic Data
Telecommunications Center Operator Certificate
and Administrative Specialist 72G Certificate
while serving the U.S. Army.
5. After this, DaShannon Perry became the
Owner of Forks of Elkhorn Restaurant
where she performed a range of tasks.
Currently, she is a Personal Fitness Trainer
who has received a certificate for personal
training from AFAA.
She also has certifications in Zumba,
Zumbatomic, Sentao Zumba 2.
6. Being a Personal Fitness Trainer, she
observes participants and inform them of
corrective measures which are essential for
skill improvement; instructs participants to
maintain proper exertion levels in order to
maximize benefits from the exercise
routines; offers alternatives during the
classes for accommodate different levels of
fitness; plans the entire routine, and
chooses the most suitable music, and
selects different movements for each set of
muscles in accordance with the trainee’s
capabilities and limitations.
7. In addition to this, she also teaches them proper
breathing techniques and explains and enforces
safety rules and regulations.
8. DaShannon Perry is a full-time Zumba

She is also active in CrossFit. Besides this,
she participates in several 5K races and the
warrior dash.
Not just this, she is training herself for a
fitness competition which will be organized
in October 2013.
