Assistant Professor of Technical Communication at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I teach in the English Department. Courses include an intro to technical communication, usability, user experience, emerging technologies, and research methods in technical communication. My current research is in wearable technologies, materiality, usability, information design, and user experience PhD in Rhetoric and Scientific and Technical Communication from the Writing Studies Department at the University of Minnesota where I focused on digital literacy, visual rhetoric, information design. Previous experience includes: Systems analyst, Project Manager, and Instructional Technologist.
