I am writing to you to express my interest in the Front Of House position currently available at
Arley Hall. I believe that I am a perfect fit for this position, as I am well aware of the specific job
requirements. I believe I am well organised from previously crewing backstage for a Christmas
Showcase, as I was multitasking from helping people change and running to get people on
stage so I can handle being under pressure.
In the job description for the position from your advertisement, there were some requirements
that stood out to me.
People person: I am very friendly person as previously I have been working in retail for
nearly 2 years now so I have to deal with the public all the time and help out when they
have an inquiry. My calming nature enables others to confide in me and ask for advice
and guidance where necessary.
Catering for Guests in the interval with refreshments that has to be up to standards: I
have recently helped out on a bake sale to raise money for the children in Moldova so I
can persuade people to buy products and also not just catering as in food, but as I am a
confident person from performing in shows so it gives me the assurance to keep the
public feel like they’re enjoying themselves and feel safe.
As FOH interlinks into other job roles in the industry I am a good team member as I will work
with everyone and just get my head down and get on with the job. I was extremely focused
during my previous role as a runner on the Christmas Showcase and was able to multitask
and complete my tasks on time.
