What is its purpose and specific subject?

The main purpose of these opening credits is to attempt to grab the attention of the watcher in order to make
them want to watch the show. Also it is used to give a briefly explain what the show is about and some of the
people who are involved in making the show. It also is used to get rid of the people who would not be
interested in watching the show. It also tries to appeal to an audience of over 20 interested in politics

At the begin you can see that there is a newspaper with Gordon Brown this shows that this program has some
sort of politics involved so this will attract an audience who like politics. We can see a blurred globe in the
background this shows that it is global ad not just about what is happening in Briton. It has footage of news
reports this shows that it has a lot of news related talking in the show. It also has David Beckem which shows
that it also has sports in the show not just politics. During the whole credits sequence it has funny captions this
shows that it is a comedy show that is going to uses comedy to talk about the news.

Animation, visual effects, colour, audio,
graphics, movement.
Blur, sharpen, distortion, rotation, opacity.
It has a fasted paced animation which the makes the opening look a lot smoother and nice looking. It has an
explosion effect at the end of the opening credits. The main colour effect that has been used is green because it
is because it has the earth in the background which gives it the colour. The audio is loud and played by a guitar
this is to show that it is not a calm show it is a show with a lot going on it.

The frame rate is at a good standard so the video does not seem as if it slow or choppy. It looks at a fast pace
which make it seem good.
