and Management Accountants of Pakistan
having rich and diversified experience
spanning over 32 years. Before assuming
charge as a Commissioner in March 2018, he
was Executive Director/Registrar of
Companies of Corporatization and
Compliance Department (CCD) at the SECP.

Mr. Shaukat joined the SECP as a Joint
Registrar in September 2000 and has headed
the SECP offices in Karachi, Islamabad and
Peshawar. Hopefully he will improve systems
and procedures for Ease of Doing Business in
Pakistan.
