Switzerland topped the Global Innovation Index in both 2013 and 2014, followed by the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, United States, Singapore, Denmark, and China. The index is published annually by the World Intellectual Property Organization and ranks countries based on their innovation capabilities and results.
