Artemisia douglasiana, commonly known as mugwort, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to western North America. It grows 1 to 3 feet tall and has green to grayish green leaves that are deeply lobed or divided. Mugwort produces small, yellowish green flower heads in branched clusters at the top of the stems from July to September.
