The reduction will also cause a drop in the datacenters energy expenditure from $23.3 billion in 2010 to $16 billion in 2020, as well as effecting a reduction in GHG emissions from 2010 by a 28% by the end of the decade. <br />So as predicted by Pike Research the data center expenditures are going to get a drastic change in the decade and organizations will start to witness the cost-saving benefits, only when cloud technology is fully deployed in the enterprise space.
