I am Chaminda Pathirage, the Programme Director. The agenda for this session is as follows:
1.I will begin with a 15 minute presentation

3.At the end of my presentation I will read through the text questions and answer them; I will also give
microphone rights to those who wish to verbally ask questions
4.I will start my presentation at 18:30pm, and will repeat it again at 19:05pm.

• The programme is designed to create reflective practitioners in project
management
• Enables students to:
– recognise the significance of process, technology and people to the
success of projects
– more effectively lead, organise and plan projects
– analyse corporate practice and implement highly effective
strategies for change
• For Architects, Engineers (Structural, Civil, Mechanical etc), Quantity
Surveyors, Building Surveyors, Planners, Property Managers etc..

4. Delivery, Intakes and Entry Requirements
• Two modes of Study: Full-time and Distance Learning
• Two Intakes per year: September and January
• January intake
– Full-time- MSc: 12 months
– Distance Learning- MSc: 28 months
• Entry Requirements
– A minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in
a relevant discipline, or
– A minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in an
unrelated discipline and significant relevant work experience within
the built environment, or
– A recognised appropriate professional qualification
