2. The Hazard
Because young workers are so eager to please, and don’t
want to offend their employer, they will do whatever they
are asked, which can be a huge risk. This is a hazard
because, in some cases, they haven’t been shown how to
safely do the job, and are too shy or oblivious to ask for
help.
3. The Solution
One way to resolve this issue, is to have someone on staff
to help with safety procedures. This person would act as
the student councilor of the workplace. One could simply
stop by the “councilor’s office” for information on
whatever activity they are having difficulty with. This
would solve the problem of confused and unsafe workers.
