Open InfoZoom and import raw data into the template
• The raw data can originate from text files, Excel spreadsheets or
ODBC data sources, e.g. Access database
o The import options depend on the InfoZoom version
o Import tool: Selection wizard

• It is recommendable to check the “preview” in this wizard to
ensure that the correct delimiter was selected for the raw data
• Below are two examples, how the data can be displayed in the preview
when selecting the wrong and the right delimiter:

Query definition
• Predefined queries can be found in the group „Queries“ in the
ribbon „Start“, they were saved previously with the InfoZoom
template.
• The commands and reports, which will be executed with the query
can be viewed by clicking on “Change”:

Execute query
• The reports generated by the query needs to be defined previously and
should be saved in the same folder as the InfoZoom template.
o Hint: If the reports are not saved in the same folder as the template,
the report paths needs to be changed accordingly in the query.
