Docketing software is computer software for use in scheduling legal matters. In ex parte
proceedings, litigation, and other legal matters, timing is highly critical. The schedule used
by one who practices before a court is called a docket.
One class of docketing software applications include the intellectual property software
applications, software applications designed to manage aspects of the intellectual property
(IP) assets of a business organization, including patents, trademarks, licences and royalties.
