The 60/40 rule: 60% of time is client billable; 40%
is devoted to development of you and the agency.
The 40% breakdown is as follows:

•   Business development planning (sales and services dev): 5% / 0.25 days per week

•   Company planning (internal meetings and discussions): 5% / 0.25 days per week

•   Personal research, training and development: 10% / 0.5 days per week

•   Company marketing activity (blog posts, networking, etc): 10% / 0.5 days per week

•   General downtime (personal admin): 10% / 0.5 days per week
