Not only do we have plenty of time to fix anything, we have time to go beyond technically correct, to transfigure our music into an artistic expression.

It gives our students (choir members) a voice. Even if the rehearsal is still director-led, the members of the choir are “known” better to the director and to each other. Gives them a forum to express themselves in ways they might not be able to in the confines of the rehearsal. (Talk about tour phenomenon…that the choir really knows each other after tour is over…maybe)
