2. TRIP DIARY…

3. DEPARTURE… We started our trip at 4.00am. We were all very anxious and nervous at Francisco SáCarneiro airport. Everyone was sleepy but at the same time excited. We were eager to arrive to Spain quickly to meet the fantastic people we’ve met.

4. … We arrived at the airport at around 4.30am. We talked a little bit as we arrived one hour before in order to do the check in. After that we embarked in a Ryanair plane.

5. … It was the first time we were in a plane. We were all nervous(very, very nervous) but everything was fine. We arrived at Madrid at 8.00am (Spanish time)

6. Madrid… When we arrived to Madrid we went for a “little” tour in the city. We saw fantastic monuments, amazing streets and we took lots of photos. At lunch time everyone wanted to go to Mc’Donalds. Then we had to run to the bus station to catch the bus which would take us to Tomelloso.

7. … The trip was long but finally we arrived! We went to school where we met our Spanish friends. Then each one went with them home and relaxed a bit. This was our first day in ESPAÑA.

9. SecondDay (Tuesday) On this day we went to school with our friends and we attended their classes. The school, the school environment and the classes were very different from the Portuguese ones, but we easily adapt ourselves to everything. Luckily our friends didn’t have classes in the afternoon.

10. ThirdDay (wednesday) This was an interesting day, we went to Toledo! The trip began early. We visited the education ministerywehere we had lunch later. Then we went for a tour around the city which is really beautiful; we visited the cathedral; saw monuments, narrow streets…. What a day!

11. Fourthday (Thursday) This was our last day in Tomelloso,, but we tried to profit the day the best we could. In the morning we went to school and at lunch we did a picnic in a beautiful park. At night we went to a bar and had fun! It was a BIG FAREWELL!

12. FRIDAY MORNING (departure) Itwas 3.00am whenwewent to the bus station to catchthe bus to Madrid . Althoughwewere a littlesleepythefarewelltook some time. Wedidn’twant to come back!  Everythingwentwellonthereturn!

14. Conclusion… Thestudentswhowent to Spainwant to thankthefamilieswhorecivedthemandsendkissesandhugs to everyone!!! WE LOVED “ESPAÑA”!
