Tom Jerry


I want you to coach me on
my golf game.


I am happy to help.
But you know that I don’t
have a clue about golf.


It’s like when you coached great CEOs.
They knew much better than you how
to run their own business.


Okay, what do you concern
about your golf game?


I have played for 10 years.
I am number one in my group.
Nevertheless, I know I can be better.
What should I do?


Basically, you want to move
your performance from good
to better, don’t you?


That’s correct.


From your own experience, when
good golfer wants to move up their
performance level, what did they do?


They will identify an area
for improvement and then
focus on improve that area.


That’s a good idea. What
is a speciﬁc area that you
want to enhance?


“I think I need to improve the ability
to chip out of a bunker.”


How was it?


I didn’t doing well.


Would you be
more speciﬁc?


I’m not sure. My friends told
me but they didn’t give me a
speciﬁc feedback.


What would be an alternative way to
obtain a speciﬁc feedback?


“Perhaps, I will ask my friend to
record my performance by video
when I chip out of bunker.”


“That’s a good idea. Once you
got the video clip, what would be
your next step?”


“I will analyze
my performance
and ﬁnd out the
solution.”


“Usually, when a good golfer learned
about his area for improvement, what
would he do?”


“Some golfer prefers to ...some golfer seeks help
correct by himself... from a Pro.”


In your case, what would be your
preference solution?


I will seek help from a Pro. I am a
visual learner. I need to see the right
approach then I can easily copy that
shot from the Pro.


Sound like a good plan to me.
