This is the Power Point that I created for an Elementary Math class or a Special Education class in order to teach them basic shapes. I learned so much from this project. It really taught me what I need to know about using and creating power points as well as the usefulness in using power points to aid with lesson plans.

2. Rectangles have 4 sides like a square.
Their opposite sides are parallel to each
other
The two sides across from each other are the
same length but different in length than the
other two, which are also the same.
All angles are 90 degree angles.
3. Squares also have 4 sides and 4 vertices
Their four sides are all equal in length
Their opposite sides are parallel to each
other
All of the angels in a square are 90 degrees
4. Triangles have 3 sides.
They also have three angles.
The sides can be different or equal to each
other in length.
5. Circleshave no sides, edges, or corners.
They are completely round.
They resemble the shape of a ball.
6. This video will
teach you how to
draw certain
shapes and show
examples of these
shapes in real life
situations.

7. Which one of the four shapes that we just
discussed do you see in this picture?
