The CICABLOC® system is designed to be used in place of traditional formwork. It consists of assembling formwork blocks with staggered vertical joints. To assemble, the blocks are simply unfolded and interlocked on the spot. The whole structure is then filled with concrete and set.

CICABLOC® INDUSTRIE was founded in 2011, after
more than 5 years of research and product
development CICABLOC® was born.
The Company is located in France near Lyon.
The capital of the company is 12 269 600,00 €
Production : We have a Factory with a production
capacity of 180 000 Block/Month
- In 2011 : CICABLOC® receives an award for the Innovation in the construction by
the region of Lyon and by the European community
- In Déc. 2012 : Creation of CICABLOC® Africa Headquartered in Cameroun, 2
production units will be launched in November 2013 on a site of 22000 sqm.
- Mai 2013 : Creation of CICABLOC® Maroc
- Septembre 2013 : Creation of CICABLOC® INDIA.

4. II- CICABLOC® PRODUCT PRESENTATION
1- Principle and application :
The CICABLOC ® process is intended to be used in place of traditional
formwork. It involves assembling blocks of formwork staggered vertical
joints. The assembly is done by clutch when unfolding and setting up the
blocks. The assembly is then fixed by filling with concrete or soil solution.
Employment areas listed below are illustrative and not necessarily
exhaustive of the possibilities offered by the CICABLOC ® process :
• Retaining wall as defined by the modified BAEL91 99 or the book
"Wall 73" SETRA.
• Items defined by the DTU 23.1 (carrier or not) as follows:

✓ Walls buried unmanned (basement, garage, ...)
✓ Foundation Walls (underbody, sill, crawl space, ...)
✓ Items unmanned (boiler room, technical facilities, ...)

2- Range of the elements:
The range is available in two different thicknesses (20 and 30 cm) in height
(20 cm) and length (60 cm) unique. The CICABLOC ® is a fold block
composed of five elements, two elements facades and three hinge
elements, all for a maximum weight of 2.5 Kg The facade elements are the
same for both layers. The hinge elements are different for each thickness
(see Figures A, B and C in Appendix 1).

3- Raw Materials :
The CICABLOC ® can be made ​​from different materials which may result in two types of CICABLOC:
- CICABLOC Plastics recycling. This can be PVC, Nylon, ABS and Polycarbonate.
- CICABLOC, 50% recycled plastics and 50% plant material (coconut fiber, bamboo fiber, rice fiber,
flax fiber, palm fiber etc. ...).
4- Production Method :
The method of manufacturing the CICABLOC ® is injection compression moulding. This technique is a
variation of the traditional injection molding. This manufacture process guarantees good dimensional
stability (- 1% or less).
Cicabloc industry has created its own software integration for the machinery of injection compression.
5- Filling :
Two Filling possibility :
- CONCRETE: Concrete filling is aggregates concrete (minimum dosage of 350 kg of cement per m3
or class B25), consistency S3 under the standard EN 206-1 and must be vibrated.
- TERRE : All Types of soil that we will mix with lime and vegetable fiber and for the foundation (Base
and supporting wall), a pourcentage of ciment will have to be added.
The filling is preferably carried out at the pump:
• pump with adjustable flow and articulated arm.
• rigid reduction (from 100 to 65 mm of about 1.50 m in length) extended by a flexible tube
(approximately 4 m) equipped at its end with a shutter.
Reinforcement: The reinforcement bars (poles, chaining, Foundation) are simplified because CICABLOC
itself is a frame with a bearing capacity of more than 1000 kg empty. For small projects such as the
residential houses, reinforcement bars are completely removed.
