7. Chapter 1
The day it started!
It started on the month of March when the house
rent expired. His aunt whom he was living with
told him to go and ask his uncle for assistance,
meanwhile he has a goal he wants to achieve the
upcoming two months which is on October, but
due to the days of his goals attainment was still
far, he decided to make the journey. Haven’t
arrived at his uncles place, to his greatest
surprise, he saw what he least expected.
He saw one of his brothers who came from
another place for the same purpose. He also saw
that the children of the man who where
schooling in boarding schools at home. Which
means they have closed for the term. The funny
thing is that they all came before him, so when
the man will be settling, he will first of all settle
them first before him. That became a great

8. challenge to him because he doesn’t know when
his turn will come; combined with the kind of
money he wants, plus the goal he wants to
archive, which if he doesn’t do something about
it nothing will happen to it. And he doesn’t want
that to happen. After seeing those things, he
concluded to himself that it looks like this is
going to be a very long journey. So the journey
begins!
One week later, nothing happened, two weeks
later the same thing, three weeks the same, till
one month, still the same. Then it became
obvious to him that indeed is going to be a long
journey. He became more concern about his
goals achievement because is getting closer. Not
only that the landlady might as well through
them out of the house if nothing happens, as his
aunt keeps calling him on phone all the time.
The pressure was getting much on him. He
doesn’t know what to do and time was going. So

9. every morning he will be thinking and waiting
for something good to happen from his uncle yet
nothing was happening. Then unfortunately
what he didn’t pray for happened, by the time
his uncle releases the money, October was
already over. He cried bitterly within himself
because he can’t do anything again on his goals.
The time was already over. It was really painful
on him, as he didn’t archive his goal or even do
something about it just because he didn’t have
money, which if he has he could have paid the
house rent and save himself from what
happened. Not only did he stay more than
October he was insulted along, from those
whom his uncle was living with. Also, when the
man completed the money, there landlady and
his aunt where no more in good terms, they are
now cart and dog. However, the money was
paid.
When he came back and paid the money and

10. saw what happened starting from his uncle’s
side to the landlady, he decided to think and
starts asking himself questions that changed his
life. Here are they!
So if this money expires again, then this will
happen to me again? No it can’t be.
But why did the whole family depends on man?
What if this man dies tomorrow, what will
happen to us? Does it mean we will die also?
No, this is bad.
Does it mean that my life and anything I want to
achieve will be controlled like this? No it can’t
be.
What about the insults and pressures I got there,
will it keep happening? Of course not, I must do
something.
What about my freedom and happiness? Is this
how is going to be controlled? Something must
