4. A Tool To Display Memorable Photos
The most memorable and joyful photo frame to be, it is the photo frame that has stood
by my family for nearly 15 years, faithfully marking the minutes and hours of our lives. The
photo frame is placed in my house, in the parlor, on top of the wardrobe. The color of the
photo frame perfectly suits my home setting. But now, I have placed it in front of me. It
displays fond memories of my family and special moments to remember. I feel everyone in
my family has a story they love to tell behind each photo. However, I would like to describe
what I like the best about these specific happenings. Subsequently, I will continue to fondly
describe my photo frame in the following paragraphs through the characteristic of this photo
frame and the moments together with my family that reinforce memories of what we have
done together in the past.
This collage photo frame is rectangle in shape and the size is 11×9 inches. It can display
4 photographs in the format of 3×3 and 4.75×3 inches. Each of the photo frames have been
designed to showcase the image in a simple, stylish and timeless way that stands the test of
time. This is a quality picture frame with velvet back and arm which allows it to be displayed
on a table or display cabinet. However, it also has a hook so that I can display it on a wall.
The outside of this collage photo frame is colored black with three gray colored lines as a
pattern and design. The outer layer of the photo frame is covered by black floss-silk fabric
and protected by a piece of transparent glass with slippery surface.
I would like to describe all the photos displayed as a collage in my photo frame. First,
from the top left is the photo that my parents took at my eldest brother's secondary school in
year 1997 when I was only 2 years old. I notice that I was wearing a dark blue suspender and
a yellow shirt. I was standing in front of my eldest brother and he is sitting on the prairie. It

5. was actually a setting, where I was holding a box of biscuits and he was asking for a biscuit
with his glittering smile. I realize that humans, especially children, all have rather short
retention spans for childhood memories. So this photo allows me to relive some of my
favorite times.
Apart from that, the photo placed on the top right of the frame is an amiable picture that
represents all the happiness of my childhood. Both my brothers were wearing white T-shirts
and I was wearing a blue shirt with white beads. We all are lying on our stomachs on the
ground while leaning forward and resting our weight on our hands and elbows. However,
both of my brothers were close together and my eldest brother was laughing and pointing his
finger at the camera. Each of us were showing off our splendid smiles. I realize one of life's
simplest pleasures is to share an experience with our loved ones.
This photo frame, displayed those special memories in the form of photos of my family
especially the photo that is placed at the bottom left. The picture has been taken in year 1998,
when I was only 3 years old. The photo took place in the outdoor park of KLCC and we are
standing in front of the water park. I am standing beside my second brother and my mother is
holding my hand from behind of me. My eldest brother was standing on the left and he was
pose a V-shape hand to shown he was joyous during that moment. Both of my brother's neck
was hung a small little kettle with the color of red and purple. I am wearing a blue t-shirt and
pink color dress in the photo with a lovable short hair style. However, my mom wears an old
style glasses and pink shirt while carrying a black color camera bag. The scenery behind us is
softly fragrant as some people were dabbling in the roomy public water park and there are
two lofty building right behind the park.
On the bottom right, is one of the most memorable family photos of my life and it was
taken when I was 2 years old. The photo was taken in a small outdoor playground in Desa

6. Damansara, which is around my paternal cousin’s house in year 1996 .The weather was good
on that day, the sun shines on us and the wind was blowing our hair. They all sat on plastic
equipment in a playgroup yet I sat on my father’s thigh while he holding me steady. We all
sat close together and show smiles even though we played till tired. In the photo, I was
looking very silly as my hair was tied into a bundle and my hand is grasping my head. I was
wearing a white Mickey Mouse shirt with short jeans and a pair of flower patterned shoes.
However, my mum was standing behind us and her hand was placed on my dad's shoulder.
She was standing close to my dad and she was wearing a large red T-shirt. My eldest brother
was sitting beside my dad and his left hand is clutching a handle as he was trying to maintain
balance. In addition, my second brother was not looking at the camera; he was facing the
ground as he tried to climb up to get closer to my dad. I feel that this photo is a great thing
that doesn't necessarily have to be anything complicated, expensive and time-consuming.
"Sometime you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
If I could, I would go back and relive some of these childhood memories. I feel that a family
photo is the most unique way to preserve all the cherished moments in our lives, especially
with childhood photos. This particular photo has been a great reminder of all the moments
that I been through with my family. As many years pass, and when I begin to suffer from
memory loss, I will be able to use these old photographs to reconnect, at least for a short
while. This is truly a special photo frame that displays all those special memories of my
family, I will treasure it forever.
