NATO Response Force
(NRF)
A highly ready and technologically advanced multinational force made up of
 land,
 air,
 maritime
 and special forces components
that the Alliance can deploy quickly to wherever it is needed.
It is comprised of three parts:
 a command and control element from the NATO Command Structure;
 the Immediate Response Force,
 a joint force of about 13 000 high-readiness troops provided by Allies;
 and a Response Forces Pool, which can supplement the Immediate Response Force
when necessary.
Any mission, anywhere
for example:
 contributing to the preservation of teritorial integrity,
 making a demonstration of force,
 peace support operations,
 disaster relief,
 protection of critical infrastructure,
 security operations and,
 as part of a larger force, conducting initial entry operations

HOLOGRAPHY
 is a technique by which the image of a three dimensional
object is recorded on film so that upon reconstruction, or
playback, the constructed image of the object is three
dimensional.
 “HOLOGRAM” comes from the Greek words:
“holos” = "whole," + “gram” = "writing“
 Each portion of the hologram stores an encoded message
about the whole object

HOLOGRAPHIC MAP
The Workflow
 1. Acquire DEM data and Satellite image of an area (Same pixel
size or resampling to the same pix size)
 2. Co-register them with accuracy LTH 1 pixel!
 3. Import DEM and Satellite image into a 3D editor ( 3dsMax,
Maya etc.).
 4. Create a 3d terrain using the DEM data in the 3d editor.
 5. Overlay the satellite image on top of the 3d terrain
 6. Overlay in various layers other important data
(These layers are stacked vertically on different heights relative to
the mapped area).
 7. Create a virtual camera and set correct properties.
 8. Animate the camera relative to the 3d scene and set number
perspective views to render.
 9. Render the views
 10. Input the perspective views of step 9 to the digital
holographic printer.
 11. Print the final hologram.

NATO Response Force (NRF) A highly ready and technologically advanced multinational force made up of  land,  air,  maritime  and special forces components that the Alliance can deploy quickly to wherever it is needed. It is comprised of three parts:  a command and control element from the NATO Command Structure;  the Immediate Response Force,  a joint force of about 13 000 high-readiness troops provided by Allies;  and a Response Forces Pool, which can supplement the Immediate Response Force when necessary. Any mission, anywhere for example:  contributing to the preservation of teritorial integrity,  making a demonstration of force,  peace support operations,  disaster relief,  protection of critical infrastructure,  security operations and,  as part of a larger force, conducting initial entry operations

HOLOGRAPHY  is a technique by which the image of a three dimensional object is recorded on film so that upon reconstruction, or playback, the constructed image of the object is three dimensional.  “HOLOGRAM” comes from the Greek words: “holos” = "whole," + “gram” = "writing“  Each portion of the hologram stores an encoded message about the whole object D.   • 10. HOLOGRAPHIC MAP The Workflow  1. Acquire DEM data and Satellite image of an area (Same pixel size or resampling to the same pix size)  2. Co-register them with accuracy LTH 1 pixel!  3. Import DEM and Satellite image into a 3D editor ( 3dsMax, Maya etc.).  4. Create a 3d terrain using the DEM data in the 3d editor.  5. Overlay the satellite image on top of the 3d terrain  6. Overlay in various layers other important data (These layers are stacked vertically on different heights relative to the mapped area).  7. Create a virtual camera and set correct properties.  8. Animate the camera relative to the 3d scene and set number perspective views to render.  9. Render the views  10. Input the perspective views of step 9 to the digital holographic printer.  11. Print the final hologram.

The DJSE and initial elements of the forces are required to be ready to move on 48 hours to 30 days notice, and sustain themselves for operations lasting 30 days or longer if resupplied. Participation in the NRF is preceded by a six-month NATO exercise programme in order to integrate and standardise the various national contingents. The NRF 2012 will then be held on stand-by for 12 months to deploy on operations.

In 2008 we passed successfully the Combat Readiness Evaluation deployed from Thessaloniki to Kriti island, a distance of 600 km. At this point I would like to add, that some allied officers in NDC-GR said: “NATO defined Greek HQ as NRF in 2012 to be sure about the end of the world”. I hope this is not true. Next pls

In digital holography we use proprietary holographic printers that can integrate into a high resolution film thousands of perspective views of real or imaginary objects created by suitable 3d editing software. By combining the discrete perspective images into one digital hologram we thus recreate a 3d image of an object that is viewable by the naked eye. Information for digital 3D hologram is obtained from digital pictures pixels, so the hologram itself always has pixelated structure. Those holographic pixels are called holopixels, currently the size of those holopixels is not less than 0.8 x 0.8 mm, each holopixel contains information from thousands of usual pixels with corresponding coordinates that are taken from different views of imprinted scene. Each holopixel is exposed three times with red, green and blue laser radiation.
