2. here’s how it works...

3. student A wants to go to college

4. student A meets with guidance counselor

5. and so do students B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K,
L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, AA,
BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, GG, HH, II, JJ, KK, LL, MM,
NN, OO, PP, QQ, RR, SS, TT, UU, VV, etc...

6. guidance counselor
zillion other students
student A

7. not cool

8. guidance counselor is overworked

9. and underpaid

10. student A needs more help

11. you get the point

12. so...

13. parents call or email Chapman

14. Chapman meets with family for free
consultation to determine needs and goals

15. Chapman emails family proposal stating how
he can help student A

16. family accepts proposal and Chapman is now
student A’s personal admission consultant

17. he’s like a guidance counselor, but better, and
cooler

19. cool

20. well, maybe not cooler, but definitely better

21. here’s when the better stuff begins

22. Chapman helps student A search for
awesome colleges based on student A’s
preferences and goals

23. Chapman helps student A prepare for the
ACT or SAT

24. Chapman coaches student A to write a
college essay with the “dang, that’s good”
factor

25. Chapman helps student A search for
scholarships

26. and then apply for those scholarships

27. Chapman then helps student A apply to the
awesome colleges

28. student A gets accepted to the awesome
colleges

29. student A gets scholarships that pay for the
awesome colleges

30. mom and dad like scholarships that pay for
the awesome colleges

31. Chapman’s job is almost done...

32. as soon as he checks in with student A

33. during their first semester of college

34. just to make sure things are going well

35. can student A’s guidance counselor do all
that?

36. didn’t think so

37. told you Chapman is better

38. and cooler
