At 1. Thời gian chính xác: at 5 o’clock, at 11.45,. at midnight,
at lunch time
2. Với cụm từ chỉ thời gian (time expressions): at
Christmas, at Easter, at the moment, at present, at the
same time
On 1. Với ngày và thứ (dates and days): On March 12th, on
Friday, on Christmas Day
2. Với các khoảng thời gian trong ngày hoặc tuần: On
Friday morning, on Sunday afternoon, on Monday
Evening, on Saturday night, on weekends

In 1. Với khoảng thời gian dài hơn (longer period of
time): In April, in 1986, in (the) winter, in the 18th
century
2. Với khoàng thời gian trong tương lai: In + a period
of time = a time in the future : in a few minutes, in
a week, in six months’ time
For Với khoảng thời gian (for + a period of time, trả lời cho
câu hỏi how long): for six years, for two hours, for a
week

Until (till) 1. Until means “up to”, chỉ hành động tiếp diễn
