1. YOUTH FOR THE YOUTH
Support the youth through local projects.
YOUTH can be identified as people between the age of 12 to 35 years with great zeal and capability to
carry on with the society demands and activities. Youth are also in most cases characterized by
creativeness and great ambitions for the near by future but unfortunately some youths in the world
have not shown up to these characters due to the undesirable life they are living which in most cases is
brought about by the incidences that erupt in our societies like wars, drought, land slides and famine
making them live a vulnarable life, living as orphans, victims of wars and deserters.
However some youth have been exposed to the world of financial ability and international willing
funding agencies and often become there ambarsadors for future hope and near victory through their
inventories like local projects and personal business offers.
Am in a local community socially based in a Christian church and am a youth leader {youth
representative UNESCO commission of UGANDA 2011} . I started up an agricultural project with my
youth group in which we planted animal feeds, rear a few animals and a few months back we harvested
which harvest we used to put up a simple structure in form of rental shops[kavumba youth
development project though its not yet finished[ whole plate level] . with great hope in future, we
want to finish this project to help us finance my other business ideas which include baking which I
learnt from our home bakery and craftsmanship[making African crafts and local jewellary from my
collegue suzan Abalo[ suzan.lakers@gmail.com] in Uganda Christian university though this one is quit
expensive interms of raw materials. We intended all this as a youth society to help our selves but also to
give a portion of one tenth to the youth deserters in the eastern Uganda particulary the districts of
Bududa and gulu in the north who have been faced with a problem of land slides and wars making them
homeless and propertyless . I believe am privileged to help such underprivileged groups of individual
and hence with the challenge future am willing to extend my activities on a national and international
scale. On the other hand I can not for get to introduce to you my youth parterner , Mr.Yiga Ronald the

I would also want to introduce the projects to you in the pictures attached to this folder to show you
how far we have gone.
