2. The purpose of this entry plan is to establish a framework to demonstrate how I will engage in thoughtful and hands-on
dialogue with school and community stakeholders while evaluating the organization’s strengths and challenges. As I
enthusiastically accept this opportunity to advance our school, It is my personal and professional pledge to model,
inspire, influence, challenge and support every member of our school community to remain focused on student success.
In the Chinese language, the word for obstacle or challenge is the same word for opportunity. As with any transition,
there will be challenges and growing pains, but there will also be wonderful opportunities to advance the school and
create a valuable and engaging educational experience for our students. The goal of 123 Unified is to graduate all
students “college and career ready”. Therefore, it is my responsibility to create an environment that ensures that all of
our students reach their full potential and maximize every opportunity for success.
During the first 90 days as Principal I will begin the journey by listening and learning as I develop relationships with the
students, teachers and community. I will maintain a strong presence among the student body, classroom environments
and in the community to ensure I engage in proactive interactions. As Principal, I will collectively learn about the school,
students and community so I am appropriately prepared to support and articulate the districts vision.
