Forms of Business Structure
• Entrepreneurial - decisions made
centrally
• Pyramid - staff have a role, shared
decision making, specialisation is
possible
• Matrix - staff with specific skills join
project teams, individuals have

Effective communication involves many elements!
It is not just about being a good speaker or being
knowledgeable about the resources available to families
within the unit and the community.
Effective communication is as much about listening as
it is about talking. Without good listening skills you can
not be an effective communicator. Listening transforms
a conversation. Listening to someone will encourage
them to listen to you when it is time to share the
important resources available throughout the command
and community.
