Product Description
The Celestron 21036 comes with a 70mm refractor and uses a correct image prism so the
images can be viewed erect. It has very good optics and comes with a 20mm and a 4mm
eyepiece which provide a magnification of 35x and 175x respectively. The PowerSeeker comes
with an Alt-Azimuth mount which is light and easy to use.

Pros & Cons
The Celestron 21036 PowerSeeker is really cheap for the kind of product delivered. The optics
are pretty good and the build quality is generally pretty solid. There are a few plastic parts but
this is not a major issue.
The 20mm eyepiece works great. The 4mm eyepiece may be a little powerful for this telescope
as the high magnification makes it a little hard to focus on celestial objects accurately. All in all
this is a great little telescope at a wonderful price.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for an entry level telescope that’s powerful enough to see the craters of the
moon and the planets in all their glory then try the Celestron 21036 PowerSeeker 70AZ
Telescope. For something a little more solid you may want to look at the Celestron 21031
AstroMaster 70AZ Telescope. Both of these telescopes are great value for money.
