Co-founder and CEO Ted Rollins along with Mike Hartnett, co-founder and chief investment officer, and the
entire Campus Crest team are committed to coming up with different, creative ways to make positive social,
economic and environmental impacts in the communities in which the company owns and operates student
housing properties. Campus Crest Communities, Inc. is a leading developer, builder, owner and manager of
high-quality, purpose-built student housing under The Grove brand.
The company presented a $5,000 donation
to the University of Wyoming Chapter of
Engineers Without Borders (EWB-WYO).
Engineers Without Borders is a national
nonprofit humanitarian organization
established to support community-driven
development programs worldwide
through partnerships that design and
implement sustainable engineering
projects. It has more than 100 student
chapters throughout the United States.
"Campus Crest is committed to investing in
organizations that share the same corporate values as our enterprise," said Hartnett. "Engineers Without
Borders has an impressive history of implementing environmentally and economically sustainable engineering
projects and we are proud to support their cause."
Campus Crest recently received the 2012 'Green Company Executive Award' at the twelfth annual E-3 awards
ceremony hosted by Emerald Asset Management for its commitment to sustainable building practices. The
Company has partnered with the Institute for the Built Environment at Colorado State University to come up
with innovative ways to make the company’s building products and resident life programs align with its
sustainability goals.
