6. What was your or your students' favourite
activity?
The karaoke competition.
Creating, colouring and laminating the cards for the board
game.
Crating the project logo
Drawing pictures for the story book
I had a physical education lesson in English
Wax museum
Karaoke
The Storybook and the Karaoke
Karaoke competition / P.E. activity
7. Why did you like your favourite Activity?
I feel that my students liked the karaoke competition a lot because it was different from traditional
methods of learning English. Also, at the start of the year only a few students wanted to sing but by
the end of the year we had about 30 individual karaoke performances and several group
performances.
It was fun for the students because they got to read the question cards they were colouring. This
helped them improve their English for the game category they were colouring. They then enjoyed
playing the game very much as they learnt English by playing!
Because it was creative
The students liked this because it was creative and because they would see their pictures in our
story books.
It was very interesting and fun and the children enjoyed it. They had never had a P.E lesson in
English before!
Because was the last activity
Because children used the english language while doing something they liked.
The students enjoyed a lot, and learn english
Because the love singing and sports.
10. Teacher opinions
Even though the karaoke competition was the most enjoyable by my students it must be said that
many students enjoyed the wax museum because they saw everything the whole school had
done during the year. The board game was also liked by many students as were the photo stories
and the audio story books which were done at the end of the project! The student ambassadors
were very enthusiastic about uploading to twinspace, creating folders in the materials section,
creating and editing the twinspace pages and learning how to use Microsoft's movie maker to
create some of the project videos! I was very happy to upload to twinspace. It was a wonderful
responsibility
it was a wonderful project and I look forward to participating in more projects!
Congratulations again Camilo, Nick, Maria Christina and Ángel, well done¡
In general, the project has motivated the students, not only to do the activities, but also to their
day to day in the school.
