unusually shaped cushion
• Tailors Chalk-The advantage to this type of chalk is that it
is fast and easy to use, and it leaves no trace behind. This can
be very useful when doing something like fitting a suit, as it
can be used to make markings as an alternative to forcing
someone to stand still while the fabric is pinned. Tailor's chalk
can also be used to make notations on fabric to ensure that it
is handled and sewn properly as a garment is assembled.

This small , short bladed tool is used for clipping
threads and ripping seams.

• Hand sewing needles-A sewing needle is a long
slender tool with a pointed tip. The first
needles were made of bone or wood; modern
ones are manufactured from high carbon
steel wire, nickel- or 18K gold-plated
for corrosion resistance. The highest quality
embroidery needles are plated with two-thirds
platinum and one-thirds titanium alloy.

• Un-picker- An un-picker is used for breaking
the threads that you have sewn, in the case
that you have mess it up your sewing. and
then you can start again.

• Pins - Pins are typically used to hold fabric in
place prior to sewing, especially when
hemming a dress or skirt or pants or, even,
curtains.
