Why has Menopause been
ignored by the tech industry?
• Generally assumed that symptoms can only
be solved by the pharma industry
• Cultural ‘taboo’ about talking about
Menopause. Women have not been vocal
enough about the impact it has on their lives.

PEBL comprises a durable and consumable
The consumable contains individual cooling shots.
Activation is by push button.
The cooling effect provides instant relief
How does PEBL work?
10. 19 November 2018 Cool-P-020 v1.0COMMERCIALLY CONFIDENTIAL 10
The hypothalamus in the brain regulates body
temperature
During Menopause hormonal imbalance can
cause the hypothalamus to send out
messages to the body to get rid of heat even
though core temperature has not changed
By providing a rapid cooling ‘shock’ to the cold
temperature receptors in the skin, messages
are transmitted to the brain that trick the
hypothalamus to reset itself thereby cutting
short the hot flush
Why we think PEBL works
