1. ALONE

2. SCENE ONE
INT. ATTIC
A scruffy greasy long haired girl around 20 years old is
kneeling curiously observing a woodlouse scurrying across a
table.
She mumbles incoherently but softly and affectionately
towards it. Her index finger slowly meets the back of the
woodlouse crushing and eventually killing it.She continues
mumbling at it gradually getting confused as to why its not
responding.
She becomes angry and screams at the woodlouse.
Fear overtakes her and she kneels up backing away with her
hand shielding her eyesight from the woodlouse.
A chair opposite the table makes a good place for her to
curl up into the fetal position.
She sits panting calming down slowly.
Her fearful expression is suddenly dropped as something in
front of her catches her gaze.
An innocent teddy bear sits in a neutral position facing her
on the table opposite.
She appears happy as she looks on.
The teddy bear now has one paw raised as if waving at her.
She slowly raises her hand to wave back.
Three loud evenly spaced clicks as the hatch quickly opens
expel this action.
The ladder slowly slides down revealing a bushy beard
attached to a much older man.
MAN
Why do you always look so afraid?
(BEAT) Daddy loves you.
He takes steps towards the girl his boots echo in the room.
She gives the same expression of fear, staring, working
herself up into panting panic.
The man places a screwdriver on the table. The girl still
screams.

The teddy bear has covered both its eyes with its paws as
the girl is raped.
FADE TO BLACK
INT. ATTIC
The girl lays with her back against the wall, legs splayed,
with a black eye and a trail of blood running from her
nostril.
She gradually comes to slowly regaining consciousness
between blinks.
Her hand slowly moves towards her face touching the blood.
She retracts her hand back in front of her and stares at the
blood on her finger.
She gets scared and quickly feeds her body up the wall with
her hands into a semi kneeling semi standing position.
Her hand reaches between her legs. She pulls her hand back
and looks at her fingers in awe.
Her fingers now have considerably more blood on them than
before.
The teddy bear remains in a neutral position.
Her expression is that of fear until she locks eyes with
teddy bear.
The teddy bear’s face remains the same.
She moves over to the table kneeling down and stretching her
arm out presenting her bloody fingers to the teddy bear.
She nods her head encouragingly.
The bear now has his paws covering his eyes.
The girls happy expression vanishes and she begins to weep.
The teddy bear is still covering its eyes.
She gets angry picks up the teddy bear and throws him in the
corner.
The teddy bear is now in a neutral position, the blood from
her fingers has stained its fur.

4. CONTINUED: 3.
Her head is buried in her arms as she weeps. A loud knock is
heard and she raises her head, she knows whats coming.
She begins to cower but notices the screwdriver on the
table.
Another knock is heard. She picks up the screwdriver,
studies it and then looks at the dead woodlouse.
She then looks at the screwdriver again with a look of
intent.
A third knock is heard. She moves next to the chair and
cowers in the fetal position, concealing the screwdriver.
Muffled voices can be heard through the wall.
MUFFLED VOICE ONE
Get that sick fuck out of here.
MUFFLED VOICE TWO
Another barge should break it down.
Another loud knock hits the hatch. It flings open with the
ladder instantly sliding down.
VOICE ONE
Oh my god. Why do you look so
afraid? Its okay, we’re gonna get
you out of here.
They take steps towards the girl.
The teddy bear lays in the corner covering its eyes.
She suddenly jumps up, lunging at the men who walk in
raising the screwdriver and stabbing wildly.
FADE TO BLACK
