3. FRANK GOEDHART
‘Grand Detour’ derives from font memories of a small town in
Illinois (USA), nestled in a sharp bend of the Rock River. The
metaphor is that a major detour might turn out to be more
interesting than the planned direction.
I like: growth, building brands, creative ideas and concepts,
innovation and transparency in communication.
As mechanical engineer, with a solid background in technical
sales, product-, marketing- and general management, I have
relevant experience to be a valuable partner for b-to-b
entrepreneurs. This is why I started Grand Detour.

To support their growth ambition, Aerkoel’s Martin
Peek wanted to increase brand awareness and
recognition of their main brand Aermec in the
Dutch market. Online and offline.

We initiated and maintain a personal LinkedIn
campaign for Martin and we set-up company
webpage, social media platforms. Backed it up
with introduction folder, presentation and videos.

FlexiForce wanted to highlight the 40 year
anniversary and reconfirm their heritage and
‘innovation for overhead doors’ brand promise.
Grand Detour
We came up with the idea for a 100+ page book in
which founders, (former) managers and local teams
present ‘40 years in 40 quotes’. Coffee-table
design book, supported by social media
campaign, 40-year logo design and a video
interview with the founders.
