Directions: 
Look at each “pre-search” packet you created of your printed article with annotations and attached KWL/information evaluation sheets. We would like you to take a few minutes to focus on your annotations you completed for each article. Learning targets for annotating your articles/texts included: 
 I can show a variety of ways to think and “converse” with a text by asking questions, paraphrasing the text, making connections, recording opinions, recording responses or reactions, recording or making notes about the “5 Ws”, making notes of search terms or new vocabulary, reflecting, sharing new ideas or insights, or comparing new information in the text to previously known information. 
 I can annotate my thinking throughout an informational text/research article/information source in a way that is meaningful and that helps me process the text.
