In this context, managers need to know how to lead remote innovation teams, and people will also need to learn how to best work on remote teams. But how do you train people to manage/participate in remote innovation teams? After reviewing hundreds of programs, we came to the conclusion what is really needed is a new type of program where managers learn by leading remote innovation teams. In addition to learnings by doing, we also concluded that the right program would need to teach specific remote management skills. This presentation explains how our new program was built and some of the unique features of our new program.
