12. The Project
Objective
• The main objective of this project is to improve the livelihoods of communities in the
interior (mostly headed by women) by promoting the production and
commercialization of cassava porridge and other cassava related products.
• The specific objective is to increase the quality, quantity, and commercialization
opportunities of the cassava crop for women farmers, producers and marketers.

• Improvement of the cassava porridge production proces and development of other cassava
related products (innovative cassava products)
• Strengthening and certification of the production facility
• Marketing and Commercialization of the cassava porridge and other cassava related products
