6. Lean Thinking is an approach which shortens
production cycles and improves product quality
by eliminating waste. It was popularized in the
1980s and 90s by Toyota as Lean
Manufacturing.
- Follows the iterative paradigm.
- Collaborative exploration, rather than
imposition of solution design.

Private sector tech (Airbnb, Uber, and Google) invent services not envisaged by
regulators and regulators cannot react quickly enough.
Regulatory sandbox aim to create a 'safe space' in which businesses can test
innovative products, services, business models without immediately incurring all
the normal regulatory consequences of engaging in the activity in question.
