3. Thesis:
The rules for business
in our world have
changed and we need
to learn how they
changed.
4. He Began his speech by asking a question to
connect to the audience and gather there focus on
him.
5. His enthusiasm on stage and the
creativity or his speech held the
audiences attention. He knew his
information well and you could tell he
enjoyed making the speech.
6. Commandment 2
Eddie shared his dream with people and his ideas on how to accomplish that
dream in catching the world up to its self. He is very passionate about his
dream and very willing to talk about it.
7. Dynamism= 4.7
Eddies speech was very
enjoyable his comedy
was well mixed into it
and he had good
visuals to go with it.
The only thing that he
could have changed
that would have made
it any better would
have bin him slowing
down his words a little.
8. Tips used from Reynolds and Duarte
He used a good combination of
pictures and drawings through out
his speech. Also using personal
stories to help connect to the
audience.
9. I learned that in a good speech you need to keep
your audiences attention and be interested in what
your speaking about, also that failure is not always
a bad thing.
10. Eddie Obeng compared to Ken Robinson. Well first Ken talked much slower
then Eddie. Both were serious during there speeches but also had good
humor thrown in to emphasis the point they where trying to make. Both were
very thought out and I enjoyed both.
11. Tips
Prepare ahead of time, Be energetic move around a little if your into your
speech so will your audience or at least they will pay attention. Don’t change
topics to quickly and come back to your main point.
