Assembly
Instructions
2. The Lens Adaptor is made up of three rings:
1. Front Ring (with 4 positioning lugs)
2. Compression Ring (blue)
3. Locking Ring (fluted)
All three rings are supplied screwed together,
unscrew from each other before assembly.
Stage 1
To fix the Lens Adaptor, the lens must be off the camera.
- once fitted, it can be left permanently in place.
3. Before attaching to the lens, place the locking
ring over the blue compression ring.

4. Position the front ring, with
the lugs nearest to the lens
– the ring will only fit
correctly in one orientation
as the lugs are asymmetric.
Stage 3

5. You now need to turn the
lens face down; this is
easier to achieve if you use
the original cap to pin the
front ring in position.
Note: the cap will not lock in
place, it merely holds the front
ring in the correct position for
stage 5.
Stage 4

6. Introduce the locking ring and compression
ring from the rear of the lens while still holding
the lens by the cap.
Stage 5
You should then be able to tighten the lock
ring onto the front ring – do this until finger
tight, there is no need to use excessive force
and the ring should then be locked in place
with no movement or slack. 2

7. You are now ready to attach the LEE filter holder
when needed.
When finished, use the white LEE lens cap
(supplied) to protect the front element of the lens.
