http://www.smmulive.com/register --- This is a presentation for Up and Coming Social Media Sites for 2012 such as Klout and Fiverr - Social Media Marketing, Social Media Online Course
2. It’s always a good idea to keep your
eye on up and coming social media
sites. This is mainly due to the fact that
if you get in early, you’ll win big
financially – and gain enormous
exposure for your business.
3. Businesses that hopped on the
Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn trains
early are still reaping the financial
rewards. So, here are some of the
hottest sites of 2011, that will blow up
in 2012.
5. If you haven’t heard of Klout yet,
where have you been? This social
media site tells people who the
influencers are on dominant sites like
Facebook and Twitter. They measure
your influence using social analytics, to
come up with your network score,
your amplification probability and your
true reach.
6. While there are still a few problems
with Klout, we have confidence that
this new social indicator will gain even
more ground in the new year.
8. Fiverr is a social site that allows people
to buy or sell products or services for
$5. At first glance, anyone would think
this is impossible. Services traded on
Fiverr include voice over artists, web
design, and video production – all
traditionally expensive services.
9. So why will this site have a big year in
2012? It’s cut out a fair niche for itself
– bringing groups of people together
that want to help each other, and gain
great feedback or exposure online. It’s
not about the money, you see.
11. Storenvy is an innovative online
marketplace that has figured out how
to provide a great service to sellers
and buyers. Their sellers sign up for
free storefronts that they can
customize and host on the Storenvy
site.
12. The Storenvy community is then able
to browse the site, and buy where and
when they like – from a number of
different promoted stores. It also
comes with a Facebook app, so sellers
can sell directly from their Facebook
pages! Lots of potential for these guys
in 2012.
14. You’ve heard of Foursquare – but it’s
still not part of your social marketing
strategy is it? For some reason,
Foursquare has been around for
awhile now, but marketers are hesitant
to use it.
15. In 2012, it will see another meteoric
year – and perhaps this will be the
time we’ll start hearing about
strategies that include this feisty
geolocation social site. It’s definitely
worth adding to your local marketing
reach.
16. There are many other up and comers
right now – but the playing field is
pretty even. The funny thing about
social media, is that a site or idea
could look really great now, but never
actually get any mainstream attention.
17. And let’s be honest, marketers are
only interested in the big sites. If we’re
lucky, maybe next year we’ll see
another site rise to extraordinary
heights! You’ll be the first to hear of it,
if that happens.
